100% of our production uses ethically sourced metal. Currently 70% of our production is recycled silver and 50% of our gold is recycled gold. Our goal is to use 100% recycled metals.
We recommend the following to help you look after your gold vermeil to keep it looking as new as possible:
Keep your jewellery away from chemicals, (like chlorinated waters, sunscreen, perfume, cosmetics, hairspray, hand sanitiser etc.)
Whilst our jewellery is durable, hard surfaces, sharp blows, scratching and extreme temperatures can damage your jewellery.
We don’t recommend you swim in the ocean in your jewellery, but if you do, rinse it with cold water, pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.
When not being worn, store your jewellery in a dry airtight container .
We use fine chains in our jewellery, their delicate nature means that they need to be cared for to avoid accidentally snagging or stretching. Take care when removing clothing. Sleeping in them is not recommended. Please be mindful of this before purchasing, as this kind of damage is not covered under our returns policy.
Rings are worn harder as they tend to be knocked more often than your other jewellery. We do use 3 microns of 18k (an extra layer than our earrings and necklaces) and we also add an e-coat which is a thin layer of resin to help protect your rings for longer. Rubbing your ring again other metals will wear our jewellery more quickly, please avoid steel hand rails like stair case railings or the gym.
