    Beautiful earrings! A bit tricky to get in on your own I had to get some help but once they are in they feel very sturdy. I love them!

    I have several pieces from Midsummer Star and love their products! These earrings are definitely not easy to put on by yourself at first, takes a while to get the hang of it. I wore these for weeks straight almost every day because I loved them so much! Unfortunately - I had the opals fall out of both earring settings over the space of 6-8 months. The opal plate is quite thin - so take care when handling them / brushing hair etc! I will be purchasing a sturdier piece in future to ensure more longevity.

    Sorry to hear about the damaged earrings, solvents will damage these as we do mention in the supplied care instructions, it's not to do with the thickness.
