Midsummer Star friend and stockist, Empty Casket, creates inspiring combinations daily with spellbinding jewellery from her online store. We love visiting her instagram @emptycasket. It's captivating and alluring, and we can never look away! Her witchy style is complete with enchanting vibes and boho feels.
The way she puts together pieces from our Rainbow Moonstone range is awe-inspiring. Check out some of our favourites below.
Last weekend, the Midsummer Star team travelled up to Byron Bay for Splendour in the Grass. The journey was taken on board Corey and Emma's 'Gypsy Fleet', otherwise known as Broken Head's Original Gypsy Bus. This travelling bus has been converted into a luxury, spacious holiday home with gorgeous arrays of purple interiors and boho features. Perfect for the free spirited, wandering gypsy.
Beautiful adornments of flowers fill the bus for an enchanting feel.
The interior is complete with mandala inspired furnishings and patterned textiles.
Vintage cameras and crystals were just some of the trinkets you'll find on board.
Homemade skull wall hangings completed the boho feel.
As did the hanging feature plants and time-lapse trunk.
Little blooms gave off delicate, spring vibes.

The white furnishings provided the perfect backdrop for our turquoise jewellery.
Mandala floor prints.
We loved the feel of the sunshine beaming through the purple fabrics.
The lovely owners, Corey and Emma!

Tucked away in the heart of Vaucluse, we found a little hidden gem, Kutti Beach. It was the perfect location to shoot a mesmerising Midsummer Star campaign. We wanted to encapsulate the afternoon sun with our true beauty, Eden Bristowe whilst showcasing the new range full of lotus flowers, ever enchanting hamsa hands and endless turquoise stones.

We wanted to find a way to bring Opals into our range of Jewellery. However, mostly due to the high price of Opals much of the Jewellery in the market is synthetic or fake. Not wanting to work with that kind of material we have instead chosen to work with Opal Doublets.
Opal Doublets consist of 2 layers adhered together, the top layer being pure Opal and the base layer being made from black potch (colourless opal).
They naturally come in a great variety of colours and hues.
Have you ever met someone and just clicked? You knew from the instant you laid eyes on one another, you were going to do great things together? You recognise that the other person has heart full of gold, ahem, silver. Well, that's what happened when we first met the gorgeous, dynamic Emily, from The Gatherer's Grove.
Our first connection was a love for bohemian jewellery and turquoise stones, which then spiralled into discussions about the heartland of our inspirations, India. Emily had just returned from a trip to design her first range of beautiful silver and stone jewellery and mandala throws.
Emily sells her wares at several boutique markets which include The Hunt & Gather Markets, The Market Terrigal the Shelly Beach Markets and several festivals around New South Wales. Look out for her in her super cute 70's combi and amazing cactus filled, aztec inspired market set up, featuring some of our jewels too.
The latest imagery for our website is all thanks to Emily and her friends. Check out the pics below. SWOON.
We love this image from our favourite gypsy, Helen Janneson Bense. This image was shot above the pebbles in Richardson Grove State Park in California.

On her blog, GypsyLovinLight, she describes it in all its beauty... 'The ancient redwoods, the crystal clear rivers, the diverse landscape, so full of vivid colour and beautiful wildlife'. How divine!
Absolutely loving Midsummer Star jewels featuring in Castaways newest campaign. Their incredibly beautiful swimwear is created from 100% regenerated recycled polyester fibre and UPF 50+ sun protection rating. POW!
We love to work alongside new brands (particularly Aussies ones!) You can easily see Castaway is a labour of love and that shines through in every aspect and detail of their swimwear. Their beautiful prints (the feather one!!), the quality of their swimwear and the fact that it's made here in Oz.
We so blessed and grateful to work with these beautiful souls.
